Head Coach Allison Beebe (ASCA Level 5)
Coach Allison is starting her 6th season with FCST and will be the lead coach of Senior Elite. Since arriving, Coach Allison's swimmers have achieved success on all levels, including a swimmer on the US World Championship team, FCST's first Olympic Trial Qualifiers, multiple #1 national swims, individual and realy state record holders, over a dozen new Junior National swimmers, and 10 select camp participants. Additionally, Coach Allison is the current Gulf Age Group chair and a member of the Texas Senior Circuit Committee, was a member of USA Swimming's Zone Select Camp staf and received an ASCA Coach of Excellence Award.
Before coming to First Colony, Coach Allison was the Head Age Group Coach for the City of Mobile Swim Association, a USA Swimming Silver Medal Club, where she coached several nationally ranked swimmers, LSC record breakers, and a Junior National Champion. Because of this, Coach Allison was voted the Southeastern Age Group Coach of the Year in both 2004 and 2005 by her peers. Coach Allison has a BA in History from Davidson College, a NCAA Division I school in North Carolina, where she swam all four years. When not working, Coach Allison enjoys traveling to Europe, fishing, and reading.
Head Junior Coach Jarrod Murphy (ASCA Level 3)
Coach Jarrod is starting his 4th season with FCST, where he will be the lead coach of Senior I and Junior II. Coach Jarrod has coached individual, relay, and team age group TAGS champions, in addition to an FCST team record breaker. Before coming to FCST, Coach Jarrod was the Head Age Group Coach for the Badger Aquatic Club in Wisconsin. While with BAC, Coach Jarrod was responsible for the 9-10 age group and directed the developmental groups. In this short time he saw state champions, zone qualifiers and Top 16 performances from his athletes. In addition, Coach Jarrod also coached the Iowa City Eels, where he was an integral part of helping the team win the Iowa 12 & Under State Championships. Prior to coaching, he was a National Qualifier in the breast stroke events, and went on to compete for the NCAA DIII Championship Kenyon College Lords.
Head Developmental Coach Hillary Martinez (ASCA Level 2)
Coach Martinez has been coaching swimming for 14 years. She will be the Lead Coach for the Blue and Red FCCA groups. Coach Martinez has been involved with the SHSRL for 12 years, and helped start a summer league in Sienna. She currently holds certifications with ASCA and is certified to be a Gulf Meet Director. Coach Martinez has been married to Tony for 22 years and is the mother of four children, Phillip 29, Zachary 27, Eryn 21, and Ethan 18 and the Grandmother of Jesselle, Caleb, and Brody Layne Tucker, with a fourth grandchild due in March. She also worked in an elementary school in HISD for 9 years, as an Asst. PE teacher, teaching all sports and the head coach for the Gymnastic Team.
Coach Marcy Kirk (ASCA Level 3)
Coach Marcy is starting her 2nd season with FCST and will be the lead coach for Age Group I and Age Group II. Prior to FCST she spent 4 years coaching for Alamo Area Aquatics (San Antonio), and served 2 of those years as the Head Age Group Coach for the Northside 410 Program. While at Alamo Area Aquatics, she was selected to represent the team at the USA Swimming National Age Group Summit, a program recognizing the top 30 age group programs in the country. She was also selected by USA Swimming as an Asst. Coach for the USA Southern Zone Select Camp in 2009, a program recognizing the top age group swimmers in the Southern states. During her time as a coach, Marcy has developed UIL State Qualifiers, National Top 10 swimmers, Zones Qualifiers, and TAGS champions and medalists.
Prior to coaching at AAAA, Coach Marcy served as an Asst. Coach for the National Team for Wheaton Swim Club in Wheaton, Illinois. While there, she also earned her Masters Degree in Educational Ministries from Wheaton College and spent numerous hours working with both swimmers and young people as part of her studies. In addition, Coach Marcy graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Secondary Education.
Coach Dana Skelton (ASCA Level 3)
Coach Dana is entering her 5th season with FCST and will be the lead Age Group III coach. She will also be working with our Swim Lesson and Masters program. She has been involved in coaching for over 10 years. Since coming to FCST, Coach Dana has served as the FCST rep for Gulf masters and was a member of the 2006 Gulf All Star coaching staff. She comes to us from the East Bay Bat Rats Swim Team in Hayward, California. Coach Dana recently graduated with a Masters in Kinesiology from California State University.
Coach Adam Lyng
Coach Adam is starting his first season with FCST and will be the lead PreSenior 1 coach and will assist with the Senior groups. Before coming to FCST Adam was an assistant coach at Olivet College in Olivet Michigan for 3 years. Adam spent the year prior to Olivet with the Rockford Riptide Swim Team in Rockford MI. Additionally, Adam spent 3 years as the Head Men's & Women's swim coach at Hudsonville High School in Hudsonville MI. Adam earned a BA in English focusing on elementary education at Hope College, where he swam all four years.
Coach Audrey Gonzalez
Audrey is entering her seventh year of coaching and her third year with FCST. She is the lead White Coach at the YMCA and helps with the Red Groups. Coach Audrey attended the University of Texas San Antonio and currently works in Special Education in FBISD. In her free time, she enjoys competing in Inline Marathons and training for the Houston Marathon.
Coach Rose Ciaralli (ASCA Level 1)
Coach Rose comes to FCST with 8 years Summer League assistant coaching experience and 4 years with FCST. She is currently working with Red, White, and Junior Groups. Coach Rose has been a swim instructor with the Houston Swim Club and has spent the last 18 summers working for Cortez Pools as a swim instructor. She loves working with kids and enjoys being at the pool.
Coach Sue-Ella Mueller
Coach Sue-Ella Mueller has been coaching for approximately nine years. She will be working with the Junior I group in the First Colony area. In addition to coaching, she enjoys swimming (of course!), reading, writing, jogging, and spending time with her family. Coach Sue-Ella and her husband have three children, all of whom share their mom's love of swimming.
Coach Markell Lacy (ASCA Level 2)
Coach Markell has been coaching for FCST since 2001. In this time, she has coached all groups from Novice to Masters, and currently serves as a Masters coach. Coach Markell obtained a BS in Kinesiology and a BS in Business Management from Houston Baptist University and is she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She recently completed a fellowship with the Gray Institute for Functional Transformation obtaining FAFS (Fellow of Applied Functional Science) and FMR (Functional Manual Reaction) Certifications. In her free time, Coach Markell enjoys spending time with her husband, swimming with FCST Masters, and competing in triathlons
Coach Lesley Rienstra
Coach Lesley has over 15 years of coaching experience with all levels of swimming. This is Coach Lesley's 6th year with FCST, and she will be working primarily with the Developmental and Junior groups at New Territory. Coach Lesley is the Head Coach for Spring Woods High School as well as of the First Colony Gold Summer League team in the summer. Coach Lesley is married with 2 sons. She was a former National and Olympic Swimmer for the British team.
Coach Wendy Guevara De Valdez
Coach Wendy is entering her 2nd season with FCST as a coach and will be working with the Red, White, and Blue New Territory Groups. Coach Wendy swam competitively for 16 years and ended her swimming career at Randolph Macon Women's College. She coached swimming, diving and synchronized swimming for the Los Angeles County Dept. of Parks & Rec for 8 years prior to coming to FCST. Coach Wendy has her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and her Master's in Public Health.
SynchroStars Head Coach Tami Huff (ASCA Level 1)
Coach Huff’s background is in synchronized swimming having competed at the National Level as well as having performed professionally in the U.S., Jordan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mexico and Germany. She has also coached synchro teams in California and Florida and is hoping to continue to develop the sport in Texas. Coach Huff's experience and expertise were already evident, as two FCST SynchroStars made it to Nationals in their first year as a team!
