FCST National Top 10 Swimmers 2009

FCST places 19 swimmers in National TOP 10 List: USA Swimming’s annual TOP 10 list includes 19 FCST swimmers for the 2008-2009 year! These swimmers represent FCST in 7 relays and 30 individual swims. Finishing first in the country was Simone Manuel in the 12 year old girls LCM 50 free with a time of 27.10 and in the LCM 100 free with a time of 58.42. Adding to our first place national rankings were two of our 11-12 girls SCY relays. The 200 Free Relay of Simone Manuel, Kaitlyn Swinney, Elizabeth Davis, and Madison Varisco finished with a blazing time of 1:41.22 and the 400 Free Relay of Simone Manuel, Kaitlyn Swinney, Asia Quentin, and Madison Varisco topped the charts with a time of 3:44.66. Way to go ladies!

The following are those who finished in the TOP 10 for the Short Course (SCY) season:
*12 year olds: Simone Manuel – 2^nd place 50 free, 5^th place 100 free
                        Madison Varisco – 6^th place 50 fly
                        Andres Guilliod - 2^nd place 50 fly,4^th place 50 free,5^th place 50 back,6^th place 100 fly
*13 year olds : Andres Guilliod - 7^th –place 100 fly, 9^th place 50 free
*14 year olds : Romy Landeck - 4^th place 200 breast
                       Kyle Yu – 6^thplace 200 breast, 7^th place 100 breast
*15 year olds :Eegan Groome - 3^rd place 1650 free, 6^th place 1000 free
*16 year olds : Eegan Groome - 8^th place 1650 free
*18 year olds: Kirsten Groome - 2^nd place 1000 free, 3^rd place 1650 free

The following are those who finished in the TOP 10 for the Long Course (LCM) season:
*11 year olds: Madi Lacy – 5^th place 800 free
*12 year olds: Simone Manuel – 1^st place 50 free, 1^st place 100 free, 10^th place 50 back, 2^nd place 50 fly, 5^th place 100 fly
*13 year olds: Andres Guilliod – 2^nd place 100 fly
*14 year olds: Romy Landeck – 6^th place 200 breast

*16 year olds: Madeline Locus – 8^th place 50 free
