New World Record Holder- Simone Manuel

Congratulations to Simone Manuel, FCST senior, who was the anchor leg of Team USA's World Record Relay at the 2013 Duel in the Pool! Simone split a 23.61 short course meter 50 free, and in doing so, got her hand to the wall first for Team USA.

 

Simone also placed 3rd in the 50 free, 4th in the 100 free, and had the fastest American split on the 4 x 100 free relay.
