FCST Takes Advantage of LC Opportunity, Wins PEAK Invite

307 Swimmers and their families traveled to Pearland for the 2nd annual 3rd Coast Invitational, Jan 17-19. This meet offers a unique format where prelims are swum in 2 short course pools, and finals are swum in long course. Having long course opportunity this time of year is a privilege for our swimmers and our area, as it’s great preparation and motivation for the upcoming summer season, and allows the swimmer to see the progress they’ve made since they last swam a long course race.

Several meet highlights are below. Many swimmers earned new time standards, and qualified for new meets later this season. Congratulations to all of our swimmers for an outanding meet!

Special thanks to the parents for fulfilling our volunteer responsibilities and committing their long weekend to giving our swimmers this great opportunity.
