FCST Races to First at 8&U SC Champs Meet!

71 FCST 8&U swimmers traveled to Friendswood this past Saturday (2/15) for the annual 8&U SC Champs Meet. FCST finished first place as a team at this meet, one of 3 8&U meets sponsored by Gulf Swimming. This is a fun meet for the developmental swimmer to shine, as it’s only 8&U swimmers and awards are broken out for 8 year olds, 7 year olds, and those ages 6 & younger. For many swimmers, this will be their last sanctioned short course meet (25y) until next fall.

Meet highlights are listed below. As always, there’s many ways to find recognition and improvement. Special thanks to the parents and families for committing their weekend so these swimmers can have a great competitive opportunity.
