First Colony Wins Open Water Carnival!

42 FCST swimmers and their families traveled to Twin Lakes RV Resort for the annual Open Water Carnival. Open water swimming is an alternative competition to the traditional pool competition. Some swimmers thrive on the competition, others are looking for new pathways to success, and others participate for the recreation and fitness.

FCST swam away to victories in the men’s, women’s and combined team scores. The OW Carnival consisted of 3 distances: 800m, 1 mile, & 2 mile swim. Scoring divisions were split by respective age group and gender.
