SMR Long Course Meet a Success!

Saturday, May 10, 2014 – 229 FCST swimmers competed in the first of two intra-squad meets for this long course season.  In this case, the Saturday morning at the races featured swimmers across each age group, training group, and training location to compete together as 1 FCST family.

For many older swimmers, this meet offers an alternative to the traditional Saturday practice. For the age group swimmer, it’s an alternative to practice, and an opportunity to earn some new time standards for the end of the season. For many of our developmental swimmers, this was their first opportunity to compete in the long course format.
