FCST takes 5^th at Inaugural Gulf Age Group Champs

34 FCST athletes traveled to Cypress, TX for the inaugural Gulf Swimming Age Group Championships, hosted by the Cy-Fair Swim Club. This meet serves as a championship meet for athletes with BB times trying to earn Gulf Summer Champs qualifying standards.

The meet format is very athlete friendly, whereas the Gulf up/down rule applies to qualifying, and the top 20 swimmers from prelims in each event earn a spot in finals. 23 of our 34 swimmers were able to earn 2^nd swims in the finals session in individual events.
