FCST Recognized at Annual Gulf Swimming Banquet!
First Colony Swim Team was well represented on the awards stand at the annual Gulf Swimming Banquet, held Sunday, Sept 28. This is an annual event for Gulf Swimming to recognize achievements of their members over the past year. Gulf Swimming is a local representation of USA Swimming, governing and managing USA Swimming sanctioned events in the Houston area and vicinity.
Alex Remy (Sr. Elite) was the recipient of the Pauline Phillips award. This is an annual award given to the athlete whose continued devotion to the sport of swimming, citizenship, and selfless support of his/her teammates best exemplify the selfless contributions of Pauline Phillips. More information on this award can be found on here. This is the 3rd time in 6 years that a FCST Swimmer has received this award. We are happy to Alex as a part of FCST. The athletes and coaches appreciate her positive attitude and daily encouragement of her teammates.
Former Head Coach Allison Beebe received the Sr Coach of the Year award for the 4th time in 5 years. Some of the achievements earned by Coach Allison’s swimmers are listed below. We congratulate Coach Allison on this outstanding award and greatly appreciate her commitment to FCST.
