FCST places 7th at TAGS! - Swim Meet Summary

Great job to all the swimmers that participated at the 2017 Long Course TAGS Championships at the University of Texas at Austin! First Colony Swim Team places 7th overall at TAGS! Boys place 6thand the Girls place 9th! At the same time, the 11 -12 Boys as a group won High-Point at TAGS!  As a Gulf team we placed second highest in the combined scores. This includes 7 individual State Titles (Neilson  50 Back; Zhou  200 Breast; Hay  100 Back, 200 Back; Bellotti  200 Back, 200 Free, 50 Back), 1 State Relay Title (11 - 12 Boys 400 Medley, also a new TAGS State Relay Record), and 16 new Team records. All this success requires a united swim team with a supportive coaching staff and swim parents that enjoy the journey of competitive swimming. At the same time, teammates cheering one another regardless of their age or results is what creates an environment for amazing things to happen. In the end competitive swimming is about creating fond memories and fortifying bonds between teammates and coaches. Thank you all for the support!
