Strong Showing at AG Champs; Great Start to Champs Season

2018 Gulf Age Group Champs

July 13-15, 2018 

FLEET - Cypress, Texas 

    This past weekend FCST sent 30 athletes up to Cypress in order to compete at the 2018 Long Course Gulf Age Group Championships.  The weather was HOT but our swimmers were on FIRE!!!  The kids were very impressive throughout the entire meet with a ton of Top 10 Finishers, TAGS Qualifiers and Personal Best Times.

    First Colony Swim Team ended up getting 5th overall with a true team effort from all the kids, parents and coaches.  One of the BIG notable achievements was Kyle Kulow getting the 11-12 Boys High Point Award by winning 6 of his 7 events.  Our 10 and Unders were very exciting to watch as they got up and showed how much they learned this past season.  Our 11-12 and 13-14 year olds did an outstanding job of taking care of themselves throughout a hot weekend and it showed by the way that they were able to finish the meet with strong races.
