TEAM FUNDRAISER
 
The FCST Board of Directors and the FCST Coaching Staff would like to welcome you to our 2021 Team Fundraiser. This past year had been like no other in most of our lives.  The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected most aspects of our lives.  While many teams in Houston have significantly cut their programs or closed their doors completely, FCST is proud to have weathered the storm keeping our entire coaching staff intact.  In addition, FCST has been able to offer consistently strong training and meet schedules to keep our athletes focused on their future in competitive swimming.  With your support, we hope to continue to be a little bit of normalcy in each swimmer’s day.
 
Fundraising is an important part of making FCST a better, stronger team where its swimmers are rewarded for their commitment and hard work. This year’s fundraiser will be pivotal as we continue to fight for our team’s place as one of the best organizations in GULF swimming.  We believe that COVID-19 has made the FCST family even stronger as we work together to ensure the continued success of the team.  “WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.”
 
Our staff has strived to make the fundraising process as quick and painless as possible for you. These instructions will give your swimmer(s) and family detailed information on how the fundraiser will work. This year’s setup and implementation will be slightly different than the process that we followed in 2020.  We will be using Snap! Raise this year as our online platform.  It is important to read the instructions carefully.  This year’s fundraiser will ALSO have prizes for swimmers, as well as a bowling and pizza party hosted by Coach Pete for the group that raises the highest average amount per swimmer!
 
This year’s fundraiser will begin on February 15th; and the deadline for money to be returned for the Grand Prizes will be March 15th. In the event, that an FCST family does not participate in the Fundraiser, they will be billed on 3/30/2020 $100.00 per swimmer with a maximum of $200.00 per family. The fundraiser agreement is part of FCST’s registration packet that all families signed when they registered for the team.
 
 
SNAP! RAISE INSTRUCTIONS:
 
We need you to identify at least 20 people your child will reach out to via Snap! Raise, and gather their email addresses BY THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH. The list of 20 people should include your child’s biggest fans and needs to be completed in full to ensure our campaign is set up for success. It is our hope and expectation that each of you will have a major impact on our program.
 
Here are your next steps to be completed BY THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH:
  • Help your child select at least 20 potential supporters
  • Once you have your supporters identified and have gathered their email addresses, follow this link: http://www.snap-raise.com/join_code/915137868
  • SIGN UP using your email address and creating a password
  • Complete your child’s profile
    • Use your child’s name to create the profile. Add a photo of your swimmer, their first/last name, cell number, and group name.
    • Your group is the name of your child’s lead coach. Swim League and Masters swimmers should select Coach Jill.
  • Copy and paste the email addresses of your 20+ potential donors into the box
    • Avoid using emails of teachers, peers of your child, or strangers
  • Select your prize choices
    • IF YOU DO NOT ENTER YOUR PRIZE CHOICES, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE PRIZES, EVEN IF YOU’VE EARNED THEM*
**Please be sure you complete your child’s profile and add a photo.  There should be only 1 account per child.

Grand Prize for Top Fundraising Coach
The coach who raises the most money per athlete will be awarded a pizza and bowling party featuring Coach Pete with their entire group(s).
 
Grand Prizes for Top Individual Fund Raisers
  • 1st Place- One Full Year of Individual's Swim Team Monthly Dues (not including registration, pool use, or meet fees)
  • 2nd Place- 80% off Individual's Swim Team Monthly Dues for one year (not including registration, pool use, or meet fees)
  • 3rd Place- 60% off Individual's Swim Team Monthly Dues for one year (not including registration, pool use, or meet fees)
  • 4th Place- 40% off Individual's Swim Team Monthly Dues for one year (not including registration, pool use, or meet fees)
  • 5th Place- 20% off Individual's Swim Team Monthly Dues for one year (not including registration, pool use, or meet fees)
The deadline for donations to be counted towards grand prizes will be March 30th, 2021. Any money received following the deadline will still be gladly accepted, but will not count toward prize totals. Grand totals of individuals only will be calculated. Donations may not be transferred to/from another individual; nor may they be combined with another individual.
