PS3 Sophia Nguyen posts 5:23 mile, 8th grade!
We had 8 this morning 8am for FLS Youth long run at Lost Creek Park in Sugar Land. George Ranch freshman Sophia Nguyen, pictured at right, completed her first-ever seven-mile run today. About 8:00 pace. Conversational pace.
Sophia set four school running records last year at Reading Middle School. Year-round competitive distance swimmer with FCST also. 5:23 miler in 8th-grade, with little mileage.
Looking forward to her development at FLS July Camp and solidifying the George Ranch Girls XC team this Fall. Another top runner in the making.
