This past weekend, the First Colony Swim Team Developmental Groups went over to Pearland to face the Sharks and more at the November Sharks Invitational. At this meet many swimmers were facing new challenges, and FCST swimmers faced these challenges head on!
From Red and White Group taking on the different 100s all the way to Blue Group tackling the 200s and 100 fly, FCST swimmers went up and down the pool with determination and speed. No new challenges were going to stop these First Colony athletes. In fact, many new “B” motivational times were accomplished during their first times swimming those races. Hard work really does pay off!
Many FCST swimmers also had to go through positive check in for the first time. This was a new concept for many families, but they prevailed easily by be very punctual and having open communication.
Finally, thank you to all the parents and families that helped time for the meet. You are truly the unsung heroes of First Colony Swim Team.
Congratulations to all FCST swimmers who participated in such an exciting meet. Now it is time to face their newest upcoming challenge: December Fall Champs! GO FCST!
Thank you Sharks for inviting us to the meet!
