2026 PACK Rubber Ducky Invite

Swimmers without three BB standards from our Age Group, Pre-Senior, and Senior divisions travelled up to Klein to attend the annual PACK hosted Rubber Ducky Invitational. This served as a great opportunity to show off how hard we have been working over the winter break as well as to gather information for our training over the upcoming weeks before our Spring Championship Meets.
The morning sessions moved quickly but our 13 & O swimmers were prepared by attacking their races aggressively, getting to the warm down pool with urgency, and staying mentally resilient for their next event. The mixed event format and 50's of stroke introduced some excitement that allowed the athletes to shake things up and race outside their standard competition.
The afternoon sessions ran much longer which allowed our 12 & U athletes an opportunity to refine their warm up and cool down routine, recover between events with proper nutrition and hydration, and spend the extra time supporting their teammates while creating fun memories.
Whether it was trying a new event, demonstrating a team value, achieving a personal best, or executing a new race strategy, coaches tasked each swimmer with a challenge in order to receive a rubber ducky provided by the meet host. If swimmers were fortunate to race during a hot heat and bold enough to get to the finish first, they were rewarded with prized jumbo sized ducks.
Parents, thank you for making the longer drive, supporting us in the timing chairs, and staying patient during the longer afternoons. Now, we will get back to work in the training pool to prepare for 12&U and Senior Champs in February! Thank you to PACK for hosting us and keeping things fun!
