Our developmental swimmers came to shine at the Joe Stucka Winter Classic this past Sunday, January 11th. FCST might have been the only team at the meet, but that did not stop them from racing! From the 10 and 11-year-old veterans all the way to the 5 and 6-year-olds, great swims were everywhere.
A special shout out to the swimmers taking on the big races: 200 and 500 free. 38 swimmers conquered the 500 Freestyle. In addition, we had 62 swimmers take on the challenge of the 200 free.
Congratulations to all of the new swimmers we had that had their first swim meet! Amazing job. Another big congrats to the swimmers who won their hot heat! There were lots of goodies for those swimmers that won those hot heats.
Parents, thank you for all of your help making the meet run as well as it did. A special thank you to all of the new Junior Officials and Senior and Pre-Senior volunteers! We had so many come to help and make the meet a more fun and lively experience. We could not have done this without you.
FCST is proud to have so many young swimmers not be afraid of the bigger races. Now, we will have to prepare for the final meet of the short course season: 12 & Under Champs. Good Luck! GO FCST!!
