FCST Takes 2nd at GULF Summer Champs

Congratulations to the FCST swimmers who competed at GULF Summer Champs on July 12th-15th.  The team did a great job and finished in second place swimming away with new FCST team records, TAGS times, and Sectional times!

Congratulations to Jordan Dorado for breaking his 8&U 50 Back (40.68) and 100 back (1:28.24) yet again!  Jordan has continued to lower his records each time he jumps in the pool and this weekend was no different!  Jordan broke his records not only in his prelim swims but also in his final swims.  Way to go Jordan!

Four swimmers achieved first time TAGS cuts for their age group.  Congratulations to Luke LeBlanc (11-12 Boys 100Fr, 200Fr, 400Fr, 100Fy, 200Fy), Keegan Pho (13-14 Girls 200Fy), Victoria Tillman (13-14 Girls 200Fy, 400IM), and Charles Yuen (11-12 Boys 100Fr, 200Fr, 400Fr).  While three other swimmers added new events to their TAGS meet, Alicia Finnigan (100Fr), Peyton Quattlebaum (400Fr), and Chris Yeager (200Fr, 400IM). 

Additionally, three senior swimmers added new Sectional lineup.  Congratulations to Sydney Hodges (400IM), April Kwan (200Fy), and Charlie Wort (200Br, 400IM).  Way to go guys!

100% best times at the meet were achieved by: Edward Abellar, PJ Abellar, Miya Abogador, Brittany Bui, Tyler Dang, Josephine Drewes, Sara Esfandi, Amanda Finnigan, Anthony Fong, Josh Fruge, Read Lassiter, Luke LeBlanc, Silvia LeBlanc, Christian Le, Henry Liang, Trey Minter, Ricky Rana, Alex Remy, and David Zhou.  Way to go FCST!
