Zoe Wong swims with Houston SynchroStars in artistic swimming. After placing 3rd in 12 & U team event and 13 & 15 combo event in Region C Junior Olympics and Intermediate Championship at Lewisville, Zoe and her team were qualified and went on to Colorado Springs to compete in the U.S. Junior Olympics Championship. We had 8 this morning 8am for FLS Youth long run at Lost Creek Park in Sugar Land. George Ranch freshman Sophia Nguyen, pictured at right, completed her first-ever seven-mile run today. About 8:00 pace. Conversational pace. Sophia set four school running records last year at Reading Middle School. Year-round competitive distance swimmer with FCST also. 5:23 miler in 8th-grade, with little mileage.
