The sport of club swimming can be physically and mentally demanding. However, when you have the support of your teammates behind the blocks, cheering you on the sides of the pool, and on the other side of the pool you feel empowered to complete the task at hand with all that you have physically and mentally. At First Colony Swim Team we understand the importance of leading verbally, but more importantly leading by action. On Tuesday the coaching staff elected Danielle Hepler and Will Schuler as captains for Wednesday to lead the team in spirit and perseverance. At the same time, the coaching staff rewarded them the task to elect the next set of captains for Thursday. Fantastic second day at Southern Senior Zones. The ladies 800 Free Relay set a new Souther Senior Zone meet record! Multiple podium finishes and some of the best team spirit at the meet.  First Colony Swim Team is currently 4th overall, ladies are 1st, and the men are 10th in the point standings. Great job to all the swimmers that participated at the 2017 Long Course TAGS Championships at the University of Texas at Austin! First Colony Swim Team places 7th overall at TAGS! Boys place 6thand the Girls place 9th! At the same time, the 11 -12 Boys as a group won High-Point at TAGS!  As a Gulf team we placed second highest in the combined scores. 2017 Long Course Gulf Summer Championships Hosted by FCST Congratulations to all the swimmers that competed at the 2017 LC Gulf Summer Championships this past weekend.  As a team we placed 3rd overall; boys placed 3rd and the girls placed 3rd as well.
