  Veteran FCST swimmer Chris Yeager (15) recently competed in the Jr. Pan Pacific championship meet, held Aug 27-31 in Kihei, Hawaii, on the island of Maui. This is a meet held every 2-3 years, with the US, Canada, Australia, and Japan serving as the charter federations. Athletes must qualify through their own federation, and must not turn 19 before the competition. Gulf Swimming is in need of volunteer swimmers to demonstrate stroke and turn technique for the on-deck portion at the Gulf Official training clinics held on Saturday 9/13 and Saturday 9/27.  If you have a swimmer who would be interested in volunteering to help us train our officials please contact Rick Tobin at [email protected] .  They will need swimmers for about one hour (2:30-3:30pm) on Sept 13 and Sept 27th.  (FCST swimmers - reminder that the RWB meet is on Sept 27th)

  FCST Shines at TAGS!   30 athletes and their families competed in the annual long course Texas Age Group Swimming (TAGS) Championship, July 23-27, held on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. This is an age-group meet consisting of swimmers throughout the state of Texas with qualifying times around AAA times or faster.
