Coach Lindsie will attended the 2012 Texas Swimming Association Meeting in El Paso this weekend on behalf of FCST. The TSA Meeting is where voting takes place regarding TAGS and All Star Camp issues. More information can be found on the TSA website here: http://www.tsaswim.org.

FCST is excited to welcome Coach Peter Leib to the team! Coach Peter has coached in multiple LSC's, with swimmers from Novice to Olympic Trials. He is an ASCA Level 4 coach and has been a Head coach and Head Age Group coach.  Most recently, he was the Head Site coach in Malibu, California. He will be leading the New Territory Site this season. Please join us in welcoming Coach Peter to the area and the team!  

Every year USA Swimming picks their National Junior Team from the 18 and under rising stars in the swimming world.  From First Colony Swim Team, Daniel Graviss and Simone Manuel have qualified for the 2012-2013 team. Daniel Graviss was selected for the 2012-2013 National Junior Team based on his top three finish at the 2012 USA Swimming 10K Open Water National Championships.  Daniel qualified in the second spot for 18 and under American swimmers with a time of 1:58:41 in Fort Myers, Florida.  Simone Manuel was selected for the 2012-2013...

Every year USA Swimming recognizes athletes that have exceled in the pool and the classroom. To be chosen for the team the athletes must achieve the required time standard in a single event, be a member of USA Swimming, and have completed at least their sophmore year in high school while maintaining a 3.5 or higher grade point average.
