  Congratulations to all FCST swimmers who participated in the LSC Open Water Challenge this past week as part of the GULF Open Water Team.  The meet held in Florida had the Gulf Team come in 3rd behind Florida Swimming and Florida Gold Coast.  Those participating in the meet were Chris Yeager, Claire Donovan, Will Schuler, Josh Fruge, Schuyler Mathews, Karigan Stanley.  Swimmers swimming to a top 8 finish include Schuyler Mathews (2.5K), Josh Fruge (5K), and Chris Yeager (5K).

The First Colony Swim Team held its annual awards celebration to honor the achievments of the age group and senior swimmers during the 2013-2014 short course season. A special congratulations go to the FCST Spirit Award winners Noelle Marsh, Ashley Harmon, and Kaitlyn Swinney. FCST Wins Inaugural NASA Jr Nat’l Cup The team title came down to the last day as entering the final session FCST was holding second.  A great final evening of swimming and FCST was able to pull through and win the meet.  Leading the comeback charge was Simone Manuel who on the final relay of the weekend led off with a NEW AMERICAN RECORD in the 100 free swimming to a 46.75.  FCST put many swimmers into the top final at night in both the 16&under and the Open events. ...
