Hi FCST Parents- For those of you that don’t know me, I am the Dryland Director for First Colony Swim Team. I have been coaching for FCST since 2001, and I have recently taken this new full-time position. A special congratulations go to FCST grad, Maddie Locus, who is a junior at the University of Georgia. At the NCAA Championship Meet, Maddie placed 5th in the 50 free and was a member of the 3rd place 200 free relay and 4th place 400 free relay. Maddie's contributions helped Georgia win their 2nd consecutive NCAA team championship title. Way to go Maddie!

Congratulations to Simone Manuel, who set her 2nd National Age Group record in the 50 free at the 2014 NCSA Junior National Championships. Simone's time of 21.70 makes her the fastest 18 & Under swimmer of all time! The 50 free rounded out a great week for Simone, who placed 1st in the 50 free (national age group record), 1st in the 100 free with a time that would have won the 100 free at NCAAs (national age group record), 1st in the 200 free (4th all time for 18...

Congratulations to Simone Manuel, age 17, who set the 17-18 National Age Group record in the 100 free at the NCSA Jr National Championships. Simone's time of 47.09 is the fastest time ever for an 18 and under swimmer, and she is now the 3rd fastest American (regardless of age) all time.  You can watch Simone's swim  here on the Swimming World website.

  The IMX and IMR Scores have been updated through our February and early-March Championship Meets.  Congratulations to all that have completed these events and have seen their scores improve throughout the season.  Once all short course yards meets are complete, awards will be given to the athletes.
